Amazon’s personal assistant Alexa will be built into LG TVs from now on. The service will be added via upgrade later this month on the 2023 models with ThinQ Artificial Intelligence features.

This means that the Amazon application will be available to receive voice commands. Control other home devices, and perform varied tasks, just as it already does with Google Assistant. In the 2018 models of LG, it was already possible to use speakers with Alexa as an accessory. But now the support is native and includes frequent updates.

For this, he has the assistant Alexa – from Amazon – embedded. You can have it turned off or on the TV, tune in to a specific channel, turn on Netflix or Prime Video. And many other actions that the full potential of the wizard will allow. Then the commands are translated to over 250,000 devices with which the universal remote control is compatible.
